Rustic Tuesday started with something simple ~ a love for old pieces, soft layers, and homes that feel like they’ve been lived in for a long time. Not decorated all at once… but gathered slowly.

What began years ago with painting furniture and rearranging rooms has grown into something a little bigger. Over time, I found myself drawn less to “perfect” spaces and more to homes that feel settled ~ where textures are worn in, light is soft, and everything has a place without trying too hard.

what I’m always creating

This is what I think of as the Rustic Tuesday style.

Soft whites, warm woods, muted greens, and layered pieces that feel collected over time. A mix of old and new, a little imperfect, and meant to be lived in ~ not just looked at.

It’s less about following trends and more about building a home that feels steady, comfortable, and real.

how this comes together

Most of what you see here starts as an idea ~ a feeling I’m trying to create.

From there, I build it out piece by piece ~ textures layered slowly, colors kept soft and natural, and spaces that feel quiet instead of crowded.

Along the way, I share what I’m noticing, what’s working, and simple ways you can bring that same feel into your own home.

For me, this has never just been about decor.

It’s about creating a home that feels calm to walk into at the end of the day. A space that doesn’t rush you. One that feels lived in, a little worn, and easy to be in.
